Residential Development

Mortimer is required to provide a site or sites for 110 new homes in the period up to 2026. As well as this central requirement there will emerge from time to time planning applications for windfall and smaller sites which also need to be covered in the  Plan.

The policies cover the site selection for 110 homes, those that will be applied when considering any future small planning applications, the mix of home types (1- 2 bedroom homes, 4 bedroom homes etc.) and the number of homes per hectare (the density).
